LICENSE FILE REQUEST

You may fill in the following form to obtain a license file for the CACD software. Within several minutes after you have submitted the form, you will be sent an e-mail message containing the license file (as an attachment), as well as further instructions. License file requests are processed automatically.

Note that we have a bookkeeping of license requests, based on e-mail addresses and cpu ids. For the evaluation version, if this is your first license request, you can get new license files for a 3 month duration; after that period, you should fill in a license request form (found here), and we will notify the license server of your e-mail address and cpu id, as well as the expiration date. You still need to get new license files in that case, about every 3 months, using the form on this page.

As a replacement for this form, you can use the lictool -r command from the Unix prompt (which is much more convenient). However, in order for this to work, the computer on which you run the software should be connected to the internet, and there should be no obstructing firewall.

NOTE: Due to security problems, lictool of CACD versions lower than 5.1.0 could not connect to our server. On versions >= 5.1.0, you can simply use the lictool -r command. If you still experience problems, please use the form on this page.
