Icdman is a program that accesses information from
the on-line manual in a man(1)-like fashion.
With the -k option manual information can be searched for
by keyword. Icdman prints out a one-line synopsis of
each manual entry whose listing in the 'whatis'
database contains keyword. The 'whatis'
database can be created with catman(1ICD).
When the -k option is not specified icdman
searches for a manual entry, specified by the title
entry, and displays it on the terminal screen. If a
section number is specified icdman looks in that
section for entry. If section is omitted,
icdman searches all sections of the on-line
manual.
