makevln - create a set of "_vln" data files

SYNOPSIS

makevln [-v] [cell ...]

OPTIONS

-v

verbose mode.

DESCRIPTION

Makevln creates out of the "_bxx" files the vertical line segment "_vln" files. These files are put in the layout view of the cell directory. These files can be used as input for a plot program, a hierarchical design rule checker, a hierarchical extractor or a pattern generator program. The current working directory must be the project directory. If no cell name argument is given makevln reads a file named "exp_dat", which contains a list of cells to be processed. For each layer within a cell a "_vln" file is created.
