NAME

mplot - make a plotfile for a masklayout

SYNOPSIS

mplot [-vte] [-o masklist] [-n masklist] cell

OPTIONS

Mplot understands the following options:

-v

verbose mode.

-t

plot terminals with a cross.

-omasklist

process only the masks in masklist. Masklist is a comma- or blank-separated list of masknames.

-nmasklist

exclude the masks in masklist from processing.

-e

Assume the layout is already expanded, do not run the makeboxl and makegln preprocessors.

DESCRIPTION

Mplot is a program that creates a plotfile from a layout. This file may then be send to a plotter for obtaining hardcopy.

The plotfile contains a description of the contour (``outline'') of the layout geometry. Unlike preplot (1ICD), mplot also finds the contour of layout containing oblique geometry. It works on the "gln" representation of a cell.

FILES

NELSISPROJECT/plotfile

output file

SEE ALSO
