Installation Instructions

To install the software, follow the steps below.
If you experience problems while performing these steps,
please contact us via space-support-ewi@tudelft.nl.

Obtaining a license

In order to run the tools in the CACD tree, you need to obtain a license file first. You should perform the following steps.
Note: if the machine you are installing the software onto is not connected to the internet, or if you have a firewall installed that interferes with the operation of lictool, you can also obtain a license using a web-interface.

If you experience problems while performing these steps,
please contact us via space-support-ewi@tudelft.nl.

Also note: the license file is valid only for a limited time. After that time, you are asked to perform these steps again. For further information regarding licenses, please visit this page.

Note for Linux users: the license mechanism uses the MAC address of your ethernet card to bind the license to your computer. You should have an active ethernet network interface named eth0.
